Trevor is a Counseling Therapist working at our Red Deer location.
Trevor offers counselling services for adolescents and adults, focusing on issues ranging from aggression, anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, and personal development.
Trevor also has a passion for working with athletes (teams and individuals) to improve their mental game. He has 25 years of successful coaching experience. His teams have won 8 Provincial and National Championships at the post-secondary level, as well as a Canada West Championship.
He also has multiple Provincial medals coaching youth sports teams.

Trevor’s Education and Approach to Counselling
Trevor has a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a bachelor's degree in Education and Physical Education.
He is registered with the Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta (ACTA) and is pursuing his registration with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
Training and Continuing Education
Trevor strongly believes in advancing his education and improving his practice as a counselling therapist. He is actively engaged in the learning process, taking courses and continuing education to deepen his knowledge in areas related to his client’s needs.
Cognitive Coaching
Cognitive coaching is highly reflective and focuses on developing an individual's thinking and learning processes. A cognitive coach aims to help clients enhance their cognitive skills like self-awareness, understanding, and problem-solving abilities.
Sessions are designed to help clients explore and reframe their thinking patterns, leading to better decisions and actions. This process is highly individualized and best suited for those seeking to make a commitment to self-improvement.
